Fabric Design
I just can’t resist the fun. Yes, Spoonflower once again. This time I’m entering in a bird fabric design and the color palate is chosen for you. Entries close on the 4th, so you still have time! Here is the palette you need to use: Here is my bird entry! Come on! What do you have to lose? It’s all in good fun and it gets you creating. Isn’t that what is most important? Love,

My daughter Eleanor LOVES elephants. She carries them around everywhere in her elephant purse and if we forget even one of them…God forbid. She also loves the colors green and blue. I welcome the change from pink. What is it about these crazy looking animals that kids just love so much? I mean they are really strange looking. Not cuddly and cozy at all. I’m on an elephant mission. Love,

Mary has been busy working on some more fruit for our Tree of Life fabric. I love the pineapple. It’s so cool! I hope you were all able to click on the link that Al left in the comments on my previous post. Only Al could find this picture! Creepy. So, here is our project slowly growing. I want Mary to come up with a couple different color schemes. I like these colors for me because I’m planning out my studio, but I could really see this fabric in some amazing color-ways. What...

This passage from Revelation in the Bible talks about the lamb with the seven eyes. I guess it also had seven horns, but imagine how crazy that would look.
(Revelation 5-6) And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes,...

I’m working on some more symbols for my Tree of Life fabric. The yellow was a bit bright, so I toned it down just a hair. Not sure if it’s the right flavor though. Might still be a bit bright. Love,

My friend Mary and I are embarking on a new fabric design project together. We are going to try something neither one of us have tried before. I want to design something for my new studio (that I don’t have yet but will). I would like to have a large scale design on a single fabric panel where the design can repeat as it gets longer but the width of the design is the entire width of the 44” panel and it doesn’t repeat. I hope that made sense. I would like 2 of these panels to...
